At our campsite, campers enjoy every comfort that can easily rival a wellness hotel – with the healthy extra of freedom and joie de vivre: Wellness Camping de luxe.
And we mean exactly that. Even if the caravan or motorhome is staying at home for once, you can sleep wonderfully in our apartments, holiday flats and double and single rooms at Pension Max 1 right on site.

Reception and mini shop at Max 1
This is the hub of the campsite, where people meet in the morning to pick up bread rolls and do a spot of shopping, get all the information they need and find out what else is new!

There’s all sorts to do between the thermal pools and the gourmet restaurant, at reception, indoors, outdoors and all around for the coolest, most easy-going, nicest guests you could wish for!

With a good 160 level pitches, we’re sure to find just the right one for you on our campsite! Generously laid out, surrounded by greenery and very well kept – that’s how all campers stay with us. Amidst tamed nature, everything is cosily overgrown.
Our Camping Max 1 is large enough for plenty of space and privacy on holiday – yet small enough for short distances between the kiosk, reception, local delicacies at Maxwirt and the beer garden, between massage and group therapy, between the natural swimming lake, sauna area and the thermal indoor and outdoor pool.
For motorhomes, there are also 12 separate pitches in front of the barrier. With connections, disposal facilities and everything else you need.
Our private bathrooms and sanitary facilities
Our three sanitary buildings with smart individual wash cubicles + stylish comfort bathrooms are easy to reach from anywhere and always just a few steps away from your favourite spot.
We also have accessible, barrier-free sanitary areas and five separate rental bathrooms for comfortable privacy on the campsite
Plenty of health and nature right here on site
Our wellness centre with its thermal pool area, including indoor and outdoor pools, saunas and steam bath – that’s pure bathing pleasure across more than 1,000 square metres. As it was once described in a newspaper article, it is among the most modern wellness and thermal pool areas in Bad Füssing.
And for campers who prefer things a little more natural, there is our very own wild and romantic natural swimming lake, with plenty of atmosphere all around for life indoors and out.

Our very own therapy centre for treatments centred around massage & physio is right at the heart of Camping Max 1 too.
For classic spa treatments on site and healthy wellness treatments. We also offer plenty of group activities led by specialist therapists and relaxing care programmes here in Bad Füssing/Egglfing.
Perfect for preventive healthcare or rehabilitation, and simply wonderful for an all-round successful camping holiday where you don't have to go without a thing!

With the ecocamping award, we place particular emphasis on excellent service quality, commit ourselves to active nature conservation and favour products and service providers from the region.
Our Lower Bavarian local delicacies are simply too tempting!
Apples from the traditional orchard in the Rottal, jams from Austria (we are neighbours, after all!), schnapps from local distilleries. It simply tastes so much better and gives us all a good feeling.
But our commitment to our home region goes a little further still. Especially when it comes to rubbish: right from the start, we have provided separate bins at our waste station for recyclable materials. Our aim is to avoid waste. Going completely without it isn’t possible, of course. But if everyone lends a hand, we can do better. Bringing your own bread basket or using a cloth bag for fresh bread rolls and Brezen from the kiosk are small things that already help.
