This is what Maxwirt tastes like
Meals at lunchtime and in the evening
Local delicacies
Our kitchen & service team at the MAXWIRT restaurant will give you a warm welcome and knows exactly what you enjoy. From summery goat’s cheese gratinated with honey to apricot dumplings in nut crumbs and melted butter, there is a whole array of local delicacies on the menu.
Mmmhhhh ....
Favourite dishes from the Rottal and from around the world, delicate and hearty, sweet and spicy. Our guests are especially fond of the tender grilled liver and the crispy pork knuckles! A flavoursome, freshly tapped Maxlbier goes perfectly with them!
Vegetarian, Bavarian & something sweet
Tried it yet? Our trio of dumplings comes highly recommended! Spinach, mountain cheese and chanterelle dumplings with cherry tomatoes, rocket and brown nut butter. Or the pappardelle with rocket and walnut pesto – a poem! And something sweet afterwards!
Something extra every day
We also always have our weekly menu, each day featuring a popular local delicacy – Monday, for example, is Tafelspitz day, on Tuesdays there’s melt-in-the-mouth calf’s liver, Wednesday brings Brezenschnitzel, crispy suckling pig knuckle on Thursday, Friday is fish day and on Saturday there’s mixed roast pork in dark beer gravy ...
Our local delicacy team
Creative, tasty and always in good spirits: together, Holger and Daniel rock the Maxwirt kitchen! Regional specialities, Egglfinger Tafelspitz, a Schweinsbratl sauce so good you could sit in it, local trout, steaks ...!
From little snacks in between, such as the “Best-in-Town” currywurst, to an extended candlelight dinner or all sorts of wholesome vegetarian dishes – everything on the menu is delicious, from top to bottom.
