Getting about with ease
The centre of Bad Füssing is less than 5 minutes away from the campsite by bus. Local and spa bus services are even free with a valid guest card, and the stop is conveniently right here at Camping Max 1.
This is also the starting and finishing point for numerous coach trips to Passau, Schärding, Braunau or a little further afield to Prague, Salzburg or Vienna. You can always get personal recommendations for the right day trip at our reception. This is also where you’ll find information on larger and smaller tours from local organiser Eichberger Reisen – and of course, you can book them at reception.
Either way: The bus picks everyone up right here at Camping Max 1 and brings them safely back again.
For those who would rather drive themselves: Car hire and taxis are just around the corner. We’re happy to organise whatever our guests need.
Around the Rottal and all the way to Upper Austria
Our lovely home village of Egglfing is separated from our Austrian neighbour Obernberg only by the green River Inn. It’s simply ideal to have 2 countries at once on a healthy camping holiday, isn’t it?
You’ll find an incredible variety of exciting places to visit nearby on both sides. The Rottal and Upper Austria are both known for their sociable events and many traditional sights.
